Mahogany, top covered with green fabric. Five drawers. Baluster-shaped legs. Length 181 cm, width 92 cm, height 80 cm. Key included.

Provenance

Emanuel Nobel (1859-1932).
The desk depicted in Elsa Backlund's watercolour (1904) of Emanuel in his study at the St. Petersburg home.
Anton Carlsund (1865-1958), an engineer at the Ludvig Nobel Machinery Factory in St. Petersburg, later became the CEO of Nobel-Diesel in Nynäshamn, subsequently acquired by the Bolin family.
