Demand for luminaires grew rapidly, and soon the company produced up to 40 light fixtures a day. Allan Helenius forge manufactured lighting and metal decoration work for Oulu Elementry School and various bank interiors. Due to the shortage of raw materials caused by World War I the forge closed down three years after its establishment.
