A Chinese 'crane' cup, Qing dynasty, Guangxu mark.
Flared rim, standing on a straight foot ring. Decorated in underglaze blue, enamel green, iron red, and gilding. The exterior with a crane standing by a pine tree surrounded by foaming waves and cloud formations. Guangxu mark to base. Height 6 cm, diameter 10.2 cm.
Wear. Firing spots.

Property of a private Swedish collector, long term member of the Swedish Oriental Ceramics Society who started to collect in the early 1980's.
