A late gustavian mahogany box with silver mounts by J. P. Möller, Helsingborg, early 19th century.

Mahogany and silver. The mounts are ornamented with stylised borders, corners with roses, sides with antiqued medallions, lid with a plaque inscribed with the initials HMN. The mounts are stamped IM (lacking a year mark but the master was active from 1807-1831). Interior fitted with a mirror and compartments. Inscribed inside "To Carl-Edvard von Rosen on his wedding day 18 10/8 87 from his sister." Length 24.5, width 15.5, height 9 cm.

Fittings with damages. Minor repairs and replacements. Keys included.
