A four-piece silver coffee set, St. Petersburg 1887, original fitted box from Khlebnikov. Sugar tong, Moscow around 190

The coffee service with Cyrillic maker's mark of N.D. Yanichkin, the swetmeat basket marked EK for Edvard Kortman.
Set comprising a coffee pot, sugar bowl with a hinged lid, cream jug, sweetmeat basket, and a replaced sugar tong. Monogram engraving on one side, and dating from the year 1887 on the other.
The coffee pot and sugar bowl in partly matted silver, gilded on the inside, the finial of the lids and the handle of the coffee pot with ivory insulators. Marked on the base, on the handle and the lid.
Height of the coffee pot 17 cm, height of the sugar bowl 12.5 cm, length of the cream jug 9 cm.
Length of the bread basket 27.5 cm, width 19.5 cm, height 8.5 cm, with the swing handle raised 20 cm. Stamped under the rim, on the foot and handle.
Sugar tong with engraved floral decoration, another monogram, length 13.5 cm, Cyrillic maker's mark of Ivan Fyodorovich Andreyev, Moscow, 1896-1908.
Total weight 1389 g.
Oak casket with wood inlays, the lid with a plaque bearing the same date and monogram as the four pieces from 1887, lined on the inside and marked Khlebnikov with the Imperial warrant. 42x38x13 cm.
CITES-certficate valid in EU only, not for use outside the European Union. Please, note that the items cannot be exported outside the European Union.

The inside of the sweetmeat basket with minor age-related wear. The general impression is very good. Keys included.
