Made to order for Palace Hotel. Laminated birch and teak. Teak legs. Dimensions 88 x 88 cm. Höjd 55 cm.
The coffee table was part of the original interior of the changing room at the sauna department. The Palace Hotel opened in 1952, the same year that the Helsinki Olympics were held. The building was designed by architects Viljo Revell and Keijo Petäjä, and the interior was decorated by Antti Nurmesniemi, among others.
Partly hard wear. Repairs. Cracks due to dryness of the material. Marks.
