Anna Güntner (1932–2013) was a Polish painter known for her unique artistic style, combining surreal, metaphor-rich works with figurism. Born in Poznań, Güntner studied at the Kraków Academy of Fine Arts, and after moved to work and live in Paris and New York. Her works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions internationally, and her works can be found in the major museum collections as well as in private collections around the world. Güntner’s paintings often feature detailed objects together with delicate dreamlike figures, especially young women, standing in open landscape.
