Carl Michael von Hausswolff (born 1956) is a Swedish composer and artist known for his experimental sound art, conceptual works and installations. He has participated in several international biennials, including Venice and Istanbul, and is represented at Moderna Museet in Stockholm. Together with Leif Elggren, he founded the fictional country of the kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland, an art project that explores national borders and identity.
