More information

Gunnar Larson (1925-2020) was a multi-talented artist – at the centre was always painting. Educated at Valand, where Endre Nemes would have a significant influence – not least on the abstract expressions in art. His versatility was expressed in graphics, public decorations, and as a designer at Gustavsberg (including the ashtray Kulan – still in production). He always worked closely with his wife, Lisa Larson. He is represented in, among others, the Nationalmuseum, Moderna Museet, and Gothenburg Museum of Art.
