Camilla Eklund (born 1977) is a Malmö-based artist with roots in Närke, Sweden. Her artistic practice has always revolved around the borderland between reality and dream. The interface between the self and the others, the other. Camilla's oil paintings tell new stories through the memories of others. The paintings are based on old family photographs that in her visual world have taken on new meanings, acquired a new language, and developed their own traditions. Here, there are groupings, marginalisation, fragments of power, vulnerability, and expectation. The collective title for these works is ”I en annan socken" (In Another Parish).

Eklund's production is sparse, as is her exhibition history. On several occasions, however, she has exhibited at Galleri Svalan on Öland and Rostrum in Malmö.
