A 'Blue Fluted Plain' porcelain tureen with cover, Royal Copenhagen, model 222, 1893-1900.
Tureen with handles and shell-shaped finial with a wave. Decoration in underglaze blue. Marked "1/222" to base, painter's signature "WI" and green stamp "Denmark", the interior of the cover marked "2" in underglaze blue. The tureen's height is 21, length between handles 26 cm.
The model was designed before 1884.
Minor chips to rim and to one handle.
