A Chinese famille rose tulip vase, late Qingdynasty / early 20th century.

Bulbous body with five openings, tapered mid-section rising from the center with openingshaped as a lotus bud. Decorated with famille rose enamels, the body with figural scenes in landscapes featuring horsemen, warriors, and elegant ladies amidst cloud formations. The neck decorated with a scrolling green dragon and peonies. Qianlong mark in underglaze blue to the base but later. Height 34 cm.

Wear. Minor insignificant chips.
