Pedro Miralles, desk, from the Azimut series, Artespana, Spain, 1980s.

Root veneered on oak, two of the legs of green patinated metal. Decoration in marquetry. Three drawers and a cabinet below with black wooden knobs. Width 134 cm, depth 59 cm, height 80 cm.

Scratches and minor veneer damage. Marks. Some scuffed corners at the back. Some knobs replaced.

Pedro Miralles was a Spanish architect and industrial designer who was also involved in the film industry. Rafael Mondeo was one of his professors during his architectural studies. In the film world, he was associated with the circle around Pedro Almodóvar.
