More information

Marie Långhans before her solo exhibition at Galleri Anders Hultman in 2018: "In a world with a constant stream of information, I have painted events that have influenced me, mixed with my own thoughts and fantasies. If you turn the vases, you can see humorous elements but also serious drawings of real events. The vases can be seen as a contemporary depiction of society. The interpretation lies in the eyes of the beholder. The works are decorative in themselves and fit nicely as an interior detail..." She calls them 'thrown reflections'.
