White glazed porcelain. A pair of lion dogs, buddhist lions, 'shishi', in playful poses with their heads lowered and tails in the air. Their faces with fierce eyes and fangs exposed. Length 11, height c. 7 cm. Wooden stands height 4, 17.5 x 9 cm.
Firing flaws, one with minor firing crack. One with a retouch to the tip of the tail.
