Decorated with polychrome partially gilded tsubas, light grey glaze with brown accents. Signed with iron red.
Comprising:
Bottle with cover, height 12.5 cm.
Bowl, height 7, diameter 11 cm.
Five sake cups, height 2.2, diameter 5.5 cm.
Extra cover comes with the lot.

Wear. Crazings to glaze occurs.

Provenance

From the collection of Eskil (Viktor Sofokles) Ågren (1897-1969), site manager of Svenska Tändsticksaktiebolaget (Swedish Match) in Asia, the family lived in Shanghai and Kobe during the years 1927-1934. Manager of Västerviks tändsticks AB after the return to Sweden.
