A Japanese bronze sake heater / stand, Meiji (1868-1912).
Rectangular with two sections, one higher than the other. Opening for a tap to the side. Decorated with relief featuring a jumping carp fish in foaming waves to one side and a rabbit in moonlight to the other side. Height 15.5, length 20.5 cm.
Wear. Tarnished.
