Box in the shape of a helmet decorated with cloud formations and imperial chrysanthemum flowers, height 4.5 cm.
Ingot-shaped box with a motif of learned men in a landscape, length 7.3 cm.
Woven miniature with tools, diameter approximately 7 cm.
Drum, length 7.5 cm.
Case, octagonal, velvet to the interior of the lid, relief decoration, length 8 cm.

Provenance

Purchased between 1928-36. From Johan Hultman's collection (1876-1958). Hultman was a Swedish diplomat; in 1911, he became the Swedish envoy in Shanghai. He returned to Asia after a post in Germany and served as the Swedish envoy in Japan from 1928 to 1936 and in China from 1929 to 1936, including Siam from 1931 to 1936. Bukowskis has previously sold items from this collection.
