A Sancai glazed Buddhist lion incense/joss stick holder, Qing dynasty, Kangxi (1662-1722).
Modelled as a lion seated with her cub climbing up her chest, on a rectangular plinth and with an aperture for the incense stick on her back. Glazed in the colours yellow, aubergine and green. Height 21 cm.
