Utagawa Kunisada, 'Kawaichimaru', late 18th century/around 1800.

Triptych, woodblock print. Kabuki actors and sumo wrestlers travelling on the Sumida River in the boat "Kawaichimaru". Published by Nishimuraya Yohachi (1751 to 1869). Sheet size c. 35 x 24.5 each, image 35 x 73.5 cm. Frame 58.5 x 93.5 cm.

Not examined out of the frame. Crease. One tear to the margin of one sheet.

Purchased at Bukowskis F628 Japanese Prints and Works of Art. From the Collection of Göran Flyxe.
