A Japanese bronze 'Owl' lantern, Taisho/Shōwa, 20th century.
The pierced body of the owl with finely detailed feathers, beak and claws. A ring loop handle to the top. Height c. 32 cm excluding the ring.
Wear. Feather with dent at the back. Base missing.
