A 'mandarin duck' porcelain cup with cover, Qing dynasty, Daoguang seal mark.
Somewhat flared mouth, on a straight foot ring, domed cover with a straight rim. Decorated in famille rose with mandarin ducks in a lotus pond to a peach ground. With Daoguang's mark on the underside and on the cover. Height 8.7 cm.
Cracks. The cup with kintsugi repairs.
