A Gustavian sofa by J. Lindgren (master in Stockholm 1770-1800).
Painted in grey. The frame with carved decoration of ribbon-twist. Fluted legs with leaf-carved over-scrolled knees and rosette carvings. Loose cushions. Marked with the Stockholm cabinetmaker's guild label and signed ILG. Length 209, width 70, seat height 47 cm.
Wear due to age and use. The general impression is good.
