A Swedish Rococo mirror, second half of the 18th Century.
Gilded and bronzed. Arched crest with carved decoration of a crowning shell formation and flowers. Two-part and mercury-gilded mirror glass. Marked and indistinctly dated with the Stockholm hallmark 1760 (?). Height 103, width 44 cm.
Renovated. Additions. Later bronzing. Cracks. Loss of gilding.
