Frame of oak. Richly decorated with tin-plated iron mounts. The lid covered in leather with a stamped lamrequin border. The lid knob and feet in the form of stylised seed pods. Interior lined with marbleised paper. Sides with carrying handles. Length 115, width 55, height 62.5 cm.
Wear. Leather and paper supplemented in the late 19th century. Keys included.
