Pelle Swedlund (1865-1947)

Pelle Swedlund var en svensk bildkonstnär född i Gävle. Han studerade vid Konstakademien samt på resor utomlands. Swedlund var intendent vid Thielska galleriet mellan åren 1932-1946. Han är främst känd för att ha målat stadsmotiv och landskap hämtade från Flandern, Frankrike, Italien, Jämtland, Stockholm och den svenska västkusten. Swedlund målar i mustiga färger och hans verk har ofta ett lyriskt drag.
