With 21 lithographed plates and portraits (2 coloured) and a
lithographed map of Stockholm by F. Akrel. With 11 tipped-in
lithographed illustrations printed on india paper. Half-title, often
lacking, is present. Contemporary English half calf, worn, damage to top
of spine, joints cracked, foxing to plates and adjacent text leaves,
tissue guards preserved in a few cases. Uncut save for upper gilt edge.
First leaf of Appendix with tear and very slight paper loss in top
margin. Bookplate of Snelston Hall, and of Bengt Schönbäck.
