The first Italian edition of Eusebius of Caesarea’s church history, the editio princeps of which, in Latin, had appeared at Paris just a few years earlier, in 1544 (folio). Somewhat later full vellum, boards warped, neat old annotations to title, a cut across much of leaves 82 and 87 (from the gutter outwards), mainly between lines of text. Some slight foxing. Bookplate: Hammer.
Wear.
