A RUG, a semi-antique silk Kashan possibly Motachem, ca 51-52,5 x 48.5-51 cm.
One end has ca 2 cm flat weave. A pale violet ground with polychrome birds, a flower wreath, columns, flowers and a niche, A dark blue main border with a flower vine. The silk warp in different colours.
Partly slightly faded. Some wear, dirty. The sides have minor fold wear, one end and one corner have minor damages.
