Soffan ingår i en liten serie möbler som formgivits 2018-2019 av Tjärnberg under sitt masterarbetet BIG DATA DESIGN - Strange but familiar, vid Konstfack, Inredningsarkitektur och Möbeldesign. Tjärnberg arbetar med 3D-scanning i kombination med traditionellt hantverk och utforskar material samt alternativa produktionsformer. Med den här serien möbler vill hon bjuda in er att utforska trösklar mellan det digitala och det fysiska.
