Van Suchtelen kom att arrendera Hufvudsta Gård från familjen Wibom och uppförde där en ny huvudbyggnad, den idag befintliga. Huset i rysk-svensk empire stod klart 1836, samma år som Suchtelen avled och han hann aldrig flytta in.
