Relined. Marks from the stretcher. Scratchmarks with som minor loss of colour, especially along the edges to the frame. Scattered retouches. Crazings. Yellowed varnish.

More information

The original by Murillo was painted in the 1670s and is often referred to as the "Santiago Madonna" since this painting once belonged to the Marqués de Santiago. Today the original painting belongs to The Metropolitan in New York.
