Glazed in in different beige and black glazes and with different structures, decorated with an animal and a figure, with cyrillic writing. Height excluding the tall stopper 34 cm, including the stopper ca 59 cm.

The general impression appears good.

Acquired at an exhibition at the gallery "Textilgruppen" in Stockholm 1992.

Sergei Isupov (b. 1963, Stavropol, Russia, lives now in the USA)

Isupov graduated from the Art Institute of Tallinn, Estonia in 1990 with a BA/MFA in Ceramics.
In 1994 he immigrated to the United States. Isupov has works included in several museum collections and exhibitions, including the National Gallery of Australia, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (TX), Museum of Arts and Design (NY), Racine Art Museum (WI) and Museum of Fine Arts Boston (MA).
