Natalia Mikkola är född 1974 på Krim-halvön men bor nu på Åland. Mikkola har haft separatutställningar i Sverige, bland annat på Galleri Torekov och Galleri Eva Solvang, samt i Berlin på Galleri Duerr. Hon har ställt ut på flera mässor och välgörenhetsauktioner.
Mikkolas motivkrets inkluderar landskap och natur samt en serie stodstadsmotiv som hon kallar för Cityscapes. Hennes utgångspunkt är inte att dokumentera platser utan att i sina bilder förmedla en speciell känsla och stämning.
