With a total of 11 engraved portraits and 55 folding engraved plates, maps and battle plans. A few plates lacking. Irregular pagination.

10 volumes, contemporary full calf, lightly worn but fine, 4 raised bands to spines. Spines gilt in compartments with a pattern of royal crowns, labels apparently renewed. Occasional marginal tears to folding plates, in a few cases affecting image.
