Upsaliæ, excudebat Æschillus Matthiæ, 1637. 4to. (19,7 x 15,5 cms.) [24] + [332] pp., pagination irregular.

Damaged contemporary vellum, vellum on covers gnawed exposing boards, ms title on spine. Charming despite the condition. Binding lightly soiled, initial leaves finger-soiled and lightly stained, occasional light spotting and staining throughout, leaf S4 mended at foot with loss of a few words on each side, a few corner repairs. Ownership inscription of B. M. Bredberg 1848 and bookplate of Christian Hammer (1818-1805).

With printed dediaction to Queen, Christina, then 9 years old. Her sympathies contributed to Wexionius being appointed bishop of Skara in 1641.
