A Biedermeier dining table, mid 19th century. Provenance: Freddie Mercury

Length 110-290, width 120, height 72 cm.

Wear. Stains. Veneer damages. Crack. One brass feet and parts of brass list missing. Table can be closed entierly but it does not run smoothly, small gap of 0.5 cm left.

Provenance

Freddie Mercury bought the table from Rupert Cavendish Antiques, London late 1980's and sent it to his apartment in Montreux, Switzerland. After his death in 1991 his estate sold the apartment and the table was brought to London and sold by Christie's to the current owner and his family.
