Provenance

Axel Stake (1868-1901) erhöll denna servettring som tack för sina insatser vid 1897 års polarexpedition under ledning av Salomon August Andrée. Axel Stake, som var utexaminerad ingenjör från KTH, ansvarade för vätgasproduktionen vid såväl 1896 års som 1897 års expeditioner. Nuvarande ägare har ärvt servettringen efter sin farmor som var syster till Axel Stake.
