Karl Momen är född i Iran 1934 och är arkitekt, målare och skulptör. Han är utbildad vid konstakademierna i Stuttgart och Stockholm. Han har samarbetat både med surrealisten Max Ernst och arkitekten Le Corbusier. Karl Momens verk har visats både i Europa och USA och han är representerad bland annat på Moderna Museet i Stockholm.
