Henry Buergel Goodwin (1878-1931);
inherited by his wife, the author Ida Goodwin (1874-1963);
discovered in 1966 along with other photographs by Goodwin in the attic of his home at Solstigen 5, solsidan, Saltsjöbaden, by the then-owner of the villa, professor Magnus Gierta, and his wife Marie-Louise, who had acquired the property from Goodwin's widow in 1961;
subsequently inherited until 2020.
Liljevalchs Art Hall is hosting a retrospective exhibition of Goodwin's works during the autumn of 2020, in conjunction with the 100-year anniversary of Goodwin's masterpiece "Our Beautiful Stockholm," which was published in 1920.
