A Writing Cabinet, 18th century

Two-part, veneered in oak and other types of wood, with intarsia decoration, brass fittings. Upper part with a raised crown, a pair of doors in front of a partially painted interior with shelves, drawers, and compartments. Lower part with a writing flap and a leather-covered surface in front of a partially painted interior with compartments and drawers, three drawers with contoured fronts at the bottom, ball feet. Width 109, depth 66 (extended 86 cm), height 212 cm. Key included.
