Örnulf (Ørnulf) Bast (1907 - 1974) was one of the leading Norwegian sculptors of the 20th century. Bast also worked with painting and graphics. During study trips to Egypt, Morocco, Greece, Italy, and Spain, he drew inspiration for ornamentation, colour choices, and classical motifs.
