Anders Pehrson (1912-1982). Born in Gothenburg, trained as an engineer. Design manager at Philips AB from 1952 to 1963. From 1963 to 1978, owner and design manager of Ateljé Lyktan. His guiding principles were form, function, colour, and family. Pehrson became known not only as a skilled designer but also as a talented marketer. The model Pehrson is most famous for today is likely his design of the "Bumlingen" lamp. It was produced in countless variations and colours.
