A Danish silver baroque style tankard, 20th century.
On the body and lid richly chased decor of flowers and leaves. Feet in the form of lions with their forepaws on globes. In the lid an inset coin: ½ Krone - Frederik III year 1666 and a lion holding a court of arms. Stamped underneath 830S and Denmark. Height 20.5 cm. Weight approx. 1194 g.
Wear due to age and use. Scratches.
