A silver viking ship figurine, Stockholm 1905

A figurine in the form of a Viking ship with decoration of a dragon, shields, borders with decoration in the style of Old Norse, sails, a crowning flag with the Swedish flag in enamel in blue and yellow, as well as the initials L-O. The bottom of the boat and the detachable stand both with the stamps K Anderson 1905. Height 42, length 34 cm. Total weight 1650 grams.

Minor wear, enamel damage.

More about Karl Anderson

Goldsmith who was born on 24.3.1865 in Stockholm. Anderson trained at L. Larson & Co, which he later took over in 1892. In 1917 the company became C.G. Hallbergs Guldsmeds AB. He eventually became court jeweler, and stamped until 1933.
