More information

Wilton C. Dinges, the founder of Emeco, designed the original Navy chairs in 1944 for the U.S. Navy submarines. Emeco was commissioned by the U.S. government to manufacture chairs that could withstand the storms at sea. Thanks to their modern and minimalist appearance, the Navy chairs are an excellent choice for contemporary interiors and many different styles. All Emeco products are made in the USA and primarily use recycled materials.
