The model was designed in the year 2000. Sigurdur Gustafsson grew up in northern Iceland, and by the shore, there was a "boat graveyard." The beached boats and nature's impact on them fascinated him from an early age. The frame was manufactured at a boatyard, as the production method is the same as when building a boat (ribs, etc.).
