Clarice Cliff was a British ceramic artist (1899–1972) known especially for her colorful and bold Art Deco–style wares; she worked at A. J. Wilkinson Ltd., and her most famous line was Bizarre, which combined bright colors and geometric patterns, helping Cliff become one of the most well-known designers of the 1920s–30s, and today her work is valued as collectible art and an important part of design history.
