Mahogany veneered. Upholstered drop-in seat. Armrests decorated with volutes and acanthus leaves. Seat height 45 cm. Width 56 cm, height 92 cm.

The upholstery with stains. The back of one of the backrests faded. Wear due to age and use.

From the collection of Ambassador Osmo Lares (1926-2025)
Osmo Lares was a distinguished Finnish diplomat who devoted his career to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. His early postings took him to Prague (1956–1959), Cologne (1960–1964), and Paris (1966–1969). He subsequently served as Ambassador to Tokyo – with side accreditation to Seoul – from 1972 to 1978, followed by appointments to Canberra (1983–1987), The Hague (1987–1989), and Dublin (1989–1991).
