A Swedish silver Rococo style beaker, Stockholm 1937.
Internal trace of gilding. Cone-shaped on a stepped foot with curved scrolls, decoration of rocailles, lattice patterns, and flowers, as well as wave band borders. Diameter 16, height 22 cm. Weight 565 grams.
The foot with dents and a split. Underside engraved monogram and date.
Goldsmith who was born on 24.3.1865 in Stockholm. Anderson trained at L. Larson & Co, which he later took over in 1892. In 1917 the company became C.G. Hallbergs Guldsmeds AB. He eventually became court jeweler, and stamped until 1933.
